The thirteen-month sweater

Presenting the 3-year-old's sweater that took me 13 months to complete -- Maisie from Pipsqueaks:

Maisie Thank goodness the sizes in that book run large -- it should still fit Ellie through the coming sweater season. The lovely yarn (Yorkshire Tweed 4-ply) was a gift from the even lovelier! Carolyn, as were the pretty pink buttons that I'm going to put on this in lieu of the run-of-the-mill white ones you see there.

Although it took ages to do the finishing/fixing of sleeve caps that were done incorrectly the first time 'round, I still think of driving through Wyoming when I see it, since it was during our road trip last summer that I did the bulk of the knitting.
