Thought that this may interest you (and your lovely knit savvy readers)- http://orphan.org/index.php?id=40 - it's a program for children from the foster program who are now enrolled in college. I don't think that mine (made out of a crazy but so far workable combination of eros ladder yarn and red corn yarn) will be done by the time the deadline speeds right on by me, but my fingers are crossed.
