I missed the big victory speeches last night (and I heard that one was particularly large) so I read McCain's and Obama's "texts as prepared for delivery", made available online. The most interesting distinction between the two was in the final three words which I presume they delivered as written.
McCain: "Thank you, and God bless you."
Obama: "Thank you, Houston. I love you."
Ah, what rich material for psychoanalysis! But we'll leave that for the general election. For now, I'll just guess what their next line might have been. Here goes:
McCain: "You are dismissed."
Obama: "I'm here all week!"
