Still pregnant III

As you can see, no trips to the hospital yet. For about five minutes on Friday, I thought it might be time to go, but alas, I was wrong. Back to the doctor tomorrow. The weather's getting better now, Baby -- it's safe to come out!

Happy Easter (or Springtime) to all! I cracked up the priest at our church by threatening to name the baby Chick. I think it works for either a boy or a girl.

Still pregnant II

No sign of baby making a move into the outer world yet.

In knitting news, I've started the second black Baby Ull sock for Clark. Am also looking longingly at the great Ribby cardies in the ever-expanding gallery at Chicknits! As soon as I figure out what size will fit the post-pregnancy me, I'm ordering yarn for that baby.

Still pregnant

The baby hasn't made his/her debut yet, though we're going to the doctor once a week, so it can't be too long now! On the one hand, I feel physically as big as a house and wouldn't mind starting the next phase of discomfort and sleep-deprivation (a.ka. recovery and midnight feedings), but, on the other hand, I need to finish up the class I'm teaching at DePaul and would be content to do that before meeting the baby in person.

Not much knitting to speak of, though I am determined to show you the lovely gifts I got at the KIP shower before the baby goes to school! Have a great weekend!

I can't fit into those chairs now, anyway

I'm not sure whether I can get to KIP tonight. Boo, hiss! I had to work both Tuesday night and last night and have a potentially grueling day ahead, so I might be all wrung out by 7. (Other than that, things are going pretty well, so I can't complain a lot.)

If I get a burst of energy, I'll get myself down to Letizia's, though! And I'll still try to come to the next one -- St. Patrick's Day! Will Letizia's have green cupcakes? Hope you're all well.
