Here's the dress that I cut out during Kids Clothes Week. I sewed it up and finished in time for Ellie to wear to her cousin's baptism over Memorial Day weekend -- yay! She also wore it to the last day of Junior Kindergarten. Sorry for the squint; we just took this photo in the early-morning sun since somehow our camera lost the photos from the last day of school. Grrr.
It's Simplicity 2675, and I love the way it came together. In fact, for the first time ever, I think, I immediately cut out a second version, which I'll make without sleeves this time! The way the skirt drapes is really great, and it fits her beautifully. I did have to do the zipper about 4 times, but that's zippers for you. It's an eyelet fabric that I got at Vogue in Evanston for $8 total, I think.
I'm glad to see you've switched to WordPress, too, Patsi. Years ago, when I was rensidocing which platform to use to re-engineer my web site, I decided on self-hosted WordPress and I never looked back. I love the 1000s of available plugins. Admittedly, to get the most out of WP a regular person needs some help from a geek, but once things are set up, it's easy sailing.I must say I haven't been paying attention to TypePad since, but from the pool results looks like only about 10% of your readers use TypePad, which surprises me knowing you and Denise were big on TypePad..-= Boris Mahovac s last blog .. =-.

If you want to make $10-$150/hour and up to $3500/month of your free time working at
home part-time then this is the most important message you’re ever
going to read.
Here’s why:
“Businesses need ME! They’re paying me money – CASH – to a
36-year-old work-at-home mother to get my opinion.”

Guess what?
They also need YOU!
I’m not a marketing expert or a sales gal. In fact, I know very
little about business. But I do know exactly what I like and what
I don’t like. I know what products I would buy and what services
I would use.
Guess what? This is exactly what large companies are paying me
for. They need to know what their average customer needs and
wants. So these companies pay millions of dollars every month to
the average person. In return, the average person, myself
included, answers some questions and gives them their opinion.
You’ve got to try this out. Just click on the link below and
check it out yourself.
